Our homeowners requested we design areas of their first floor, with an updated contemporary aesthetic. They desired updating their dreary entry, a powder bath and the living room in keeping with a modern approach.
On the first floor we refinished the White Oak hardwood floors with a custom natural finish and updated the railing on the stairs and balcony with matching White Oak handrail with black metal posts with cable for a simple yet sleek design. We also replaced the dated living room mantel and hearth with a custom designed floating granite hearth and simple steel fireplace surround. Additionally, we transformed a dated powder bath, complete with wallpaper, a pedestal sink and fun brass plumbing and lighting fixtures. We completed this renovation with a new entry door system with tempered glass panes in a reeded glass pattern for a modern welcome into their beautiful new space. These homeowners are already discussing their next renovation with us and we look forward to continuing the relationship in the near future.
