These homeowners came to us, desirous of a primary bathroom transformation. The house is 1930’s built and had the original bathroom design and layout. An updated bathroom with current amenities and more storage were a need, and a “spa-like” bathroom like one they had experienced in a vacation resort was their want. We redesigned this bathroom to capture every square inch of storage and improve the function of the layout. By demoing the entire bathroom to the studs, we were able to capture even more space behind the existing walls than originally thought and had the ability to modify our custom Corinthian built vanity and linen cabinet to utilize it perfectly. The original single vanity was changed to a 5’ vanity with sinks and mirrors for two. A matching tall linen closet was added with extra depth. Finding the perfect bathtub that would fit into the allotted space was challenging, but well worth the extra floor space and a knee wall now allows a private toilet area. The knee wall allowed the added bonus for a shelf for the homeowners prized orchids. Terrazzo tile on the bathroom floor and Aqua Gloss tile in the tub/shower, and as an accent feature behind the vanity, provides a pop of color. New plumbing and lighting fixtures round out this gorgeous renovation. The homeowners absolutely love their new space and the ability to use the space together.
