Small Primary Bathroom Gets Huge Transformation

This young family loved their home and the location, but their only full bathroom of the house was cramped and dated and in need of an update. Staying in the footprint of the space, we came up with a design and selections that utilized every square inch of the room allowing for more usable space. By using a smaller vanity, a more petite tub, and a less deep toilet, the floor space in front of the tub allowed access for bathing their children. We added a recessed medicine cabinet and created storage in the wall behind the door for toiletries. A shelf above the toilet will house decorations and future plants. The result is a bathroom they now love to spend time in, including a bubble bath with a good book from time to time.
